Care + Protect

A clearer store. A stronger commercial result.

Selected Care + Protect interface screens.

The challenge

Care + Protect needed a Shopify store aligned with its refreshed identity and the needs of customers in the UK. The experience also needed to encourage repeat purchases and make relevant additions visible without interrupting the main buying journey.

The approach

The design work focused on clear shopping journeys and mobile usability. The wider solution also included flexible subscriptions, back-in-stock recovery and tailored upsells and cross-sells, informed by Shopify’s AI recommendations, Hotjar behaviour insights and GA4 analysis.

The result

1.2% → 2.99%

Store conversion rate · +45% orders · +66% total sales

Adsomething reports store conversion moving from 1.2% to 2.99%, order volume growing 45% and total sales growing 66%. These results reflect the combined effect of design, development, subscriptions, merchandising, SEO and marketing; they are not an isolated measure of my design contribution.

SUBSCRIPTIONS · RETENTION · REVENUE

More than a visual redesign.

The storefront supported a wider commercial strategy: give customers useful reasons to return and make each order more relevant.

01 / RETENTION

Subscriptions and stock recovery

A flexible subscription model and a back-in-stock experience made it easier for customers to return when products became available, supporting stronger retention and customer loyalty.

02 / MERCHANDISING

Upsells and cross-sells

Shopify’s AI recommendations, Hotjar behaviour insights and GA4 analysis informed a tailored upsell and cross-sell system. As part of the wider team effort, it contributed to growth in revenue, orders and traffic.

Conversion, product pages, subscriptions, bundles — or something that just feels harder than it should.

You don’t need a perfect brief. That’s part of my job.

No sales sequence. No account manager. Just a reply from me.
